About Me

My approach blends professional expertise with a practical, real-world perspective. In addition to my clinical training in behavioral and insight-oriented therapies, I draw on my unique experiences as a cancer survivor, college athlete, father, and 18 years working in other fields before pursuing graduate studies. I specialize in helping kids, teens, and adults navigate life transitions, relational challenges, grief, and feelings of stagnation. I also work with competitive athletes and other motivated people facing performance anxiety, injury, identity questions, and the fear of falling short of their potential. My goal is to guide patients toward a deeper understanding of themselves, improve relationships, and support success in work, sports, or school. I aim to create an environment to address patients' core issues, helping them access the courage to break free from self-defeating patterns and get the most out of themselves.
